The Cotswold Veg Box Company was born in the second week of lockdown, driven by our desire to support our local community who were struggling to access fresh produce. Despite now delivering nationally, our mission hasn’t changed!

We continue to pull from all the fantastic local growers and artisanal suppliers the area has to offer, providing food that’s better for you and great for the local economy!

Having both grown up around farming and agriculture, local lads Pete Robinson and Alex Thompson continue to stay passionate about bringing high-quality produce from the Cotswolds to your doorstep. We are proud to partner with local growers, some of whom are family and friends. The fruit and veg they grow is absolutely top quality and this enables us to provide an excellent service to our customers whilst supporting our local community.

As we have grown, we have ensured we tailor our services to make your experience as efficient and cost-effective as possible. We focus on delivering bespoke, seasonal, locally sourced boxes at a fair price, straight to your home with as little food-miles as possible!

Each week, we connect with our local farmers to find out what’s ripe and ready for harvest. We then curate boxes that include an inspiring mix of sustainable, fresh, locally grown produce, along with your favourite exotic and out-of-season items, to guarantee variety and the opportunity to make some interesting and delicious meals for you and the family.

We are aware that every decision we make impacts our environment and we continue to commit to reducing food waste. This is why we collect customer’s orders before finalising our purchases from suppliers. We ensure that nearly all the produce we buy goes directly to you. Any surplus is donated to local food banks or used to feed animals on nearby farms.

Sustainability is also a big priority for us. We strive to minimise plastic use and opt for plastic-free options whenever possible. There’s no unnecessary packaging here, so by having a Cotswold Veg Box subscription, you will significantly reduce your household waste output. Any packaging added by us will always be 100% recyclable.
